Cooking for the homeless

Earlier this week – as part of Volunteers Week - Brouha’s Amy Goddard prepared and delivered 25 hot meals for the homeless charity, Alternative Angels, based in Swindon.

The Alternative Angels work tirelessly to provide Swindon's homeless and most vulnerable residents with a secure and welcoming space where they can enjoy hot nourishing meals. Beyond serving food, they also foster a sense of community and offer a compassionate ear for those who need it most. As well as providing meals they also offer vital support, guidance, and connections to essential services.

Amy comments: ‘Alternative Angels is a fantastic charity, doing amazing work in my local community so I was grateful to be able to do my small part in offering a helping hand. Being able to provide someone who needs it with a hot meal is very rewarding and it’s definitely something I will do again in the future.”
