Peabody Darwin Court Food Hub

We were honoured to be invited along to the Peabody Darwin Court Food Hub Spring Event today.

The food bank was the worthy winner of the NHMF frameworx Social Value Project of the Year earlier this year at the National Housing Maintenance Forum (NHMF) Awards, so we joined Paul Smith to find out more about the initiative that is making such a difference to the local community and to capture some video footage to showcase the event, the project and the positive community impact.

Dominic Cassidy was in his favourite place behind the camera, chatting to staff and residents, and also got a chance to catch up with Pippa P. who was there as part of the PURDY (Part of Sureserve) team, long term supporters who nominated Darwin Court for the award and volunteer time and effort to help with the running of the food bank.

Although the weather was interesting, with a mix of bright sunshine, cloud and even hail, it was a fun day - now to the editing.
