You would think that the UK population would be so bogged down in their day to day lives – work, family, friends, keeping fit, eating healthily – that we wouldn't have time to be charitable as well, but at the end of last year we came out on top for our generous donations to charity. According to the Charities Aid Foundation 76% of us are giving money to a good cause in a typical month.
